Questions, answered
- How is the price decided?
- Haul-away is priced by how much space your stuff takes in the truck, starting at $99 for a single item. Dumpsters are a flat rental rate. A crew member confirms the flat price on site before anything is loaded.
- How long do I get the dumpster?
- Seven days is included on both the 20 and 30-yard containers. Extra days are $15 per day.
- What happens if I go over the weight limit?
- The 20-yard includes 3 tons and the 30-yard includes 4 tons. Overage is $75 per ton, billed from the scale ticket.
- 20-yard or 30-yard?
- A 20-yard suits most single-room remodels, garage cleanouts and roofing jobs. Choose the 30-yard for whole-house cleanouts, large additions or bulky but light material like cabinetry and framing.
- Do I need a permit?
- Only if the container sits on a public street. A City of Atlanta street permit runs $20 plus $10 per day and is passed through at cost. On your driveway, no permit is needed.
- What can't you take?
- No hazardous waste, paint, solvents, chemicals, asbestos or medical waste. Freon appliances, tires and mattresses are accepted with a per-item fee.
- Are there areas you can't drop a container?
- We cannot place a roll-off in unincorporated DeKalb, Douglasville, Buford, McDonough. Truck haul-away is still available in those areas.
- How soon can you come out?
- Same-day and next-day slots are common. Call (404) 307-1503 and we will tell you what's open.
